I think there is a download for the finished database. In the past Iris/Lotus tended to state many things as a negative e.g. Hide When rather than XPages which has "visible".  While this transition takes place i think we all need to read the fine print carefully. The problem was caused because LocalDomainServers had manager access in the database catalog.<br><br>We have a hub and spoke topology, the spoke/local site servers have manager access to their own catalog.nsf whilst other servers have only reader access, this ensures that only local server databases are listed in the local catalog. So when the Notes client looks up in the catalog it will only ever see an entry for the local server and opens that database.<br><br>If you look at the ACL of the template for a catalog you will see an entry for [LocalDomainServers] with access level of "Reader".
